Mission Beach is a trendy beach town with loads of excitement and crowds of people out and about. There are people surfing, catching some sun at the beach, shopping the boardwalk and dining at restaruants. There are blocks of local pubs and restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. This laid back beach town wont disappoint when it comes to fun in the sun.

Outdoor Activities

Belmont historical amusement park and entertainment hub features many fun and exciting opportunities. From laser tage to bumper cars, Belmonts has something for people of all ages. Right next door is Wavehouse a fantastic resort that is home to one of Americas largest artificial wave machine, The FlowBarrel. Across the way, Cannon Ball Rooftop restaurant has breath taking views. Sushi and seafood is the name of the game. Don’t forget to checkout the new indoor/outdoor Fit Gym, which has classes, new workout equipment and a pool. All of these locations are on the boardwalk. Head over to the sand and soak up the sun and enjoy some quality time with the deep blue water and sandy shores. South Mission Beach has 14 volleyball courts for those who want to enjoy a competitive game.

Most residents are in their mid to late 30s, and the median age is 31. The second-highest age demographic falls within the 40 to 49 range. Just over half the residents are single.
